U.S. Congress mandates a study of cryptocurrency impact on sex and drug trafficking

U.S. House of Representatives yesterday passed a bill to order the Comptroller General of the U.S. to conduct a study of the uses of cryptocurrencies and online marketplaces in sex and drug trafficking and recommend regulatory action to address the facilitating role those may have.

It has to be noted that in order to become a law, the bill must be passed also by the Senate and signed by the President.
